Privacy
This website collects only what you choose to provide, and a small amount of anonymous information about how the site is used.
What is collected
Enquiries. If you write to me, the site stores your name, email address, anything you choose to add about your role, organisation or LinkedIn profile, and what you describe about your situation.
Reflection responses. If you complete A Reflection on Your Next Transition, your ratings and any notes you write are stored so the reflection can be shown back to you. They are attached to an enquiry only if you explicitly tick the box asking for that.
Anonymous usage events. The site records simple events — such as a page being viewed, a reflection being started or completed, or an enquiry being sent — against a temporary identifier held only for the length of your visit. These events contain no name, email address or content.
How it is used
Enquiries are read by me, personally, so that I can reply to you and prepare for a first conversation.
Usage events are used only to understand whether the site is useful — for example, whether visitors find the reflection worth completing.
Your information is not sold, published, or shared for marketing. There is no newsletter, and no advertising trackers are used on this site.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in a private database used by this website, accessible only through the site’s own secure server-side code and by me.
Information is kept for as long as it remains relevant to our correspondence or to understanding how the site is used, and is deleted on request.
Your choices
Completing the reflection is optional, and you can read your reflection without sharing it with me.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have provided by replying to any message from me, or by writing through the contact form.
Nature of the reflection
The reflection is a structured prompt for thinking. It is not a clinical, psychological or psychometric assessment, and it produces no diagnosis or profile.
